I spent two days in Paris last week and I can honestly say that is was an amazing experience. Especially since me and my friend had a personal tour guide to show us around in Paris ( thank you so much JB! ). We stayed one night at the cozy hotel Parizienne located at boulevard Montparnasse. We got a room on the top floor so the view was really stunning.
The room was pretty spacious and was perfect for a one night stay but I could for sure stay here for longer. It has everything you need; a big bed, a bath tub, a blow dryer and a great view. “La Parizienne is a 3-star boutique hotel driven by the spirit of a Parisian woman, vibrant and sassy, whose universe is marked with playful chicness and poetic lightness.”. So you can imagine this hotel is perfect for fashionista’s or bloggers. I really enjoyed all the details.
The lobby. Everywhere you looked were cute fashion illustrations or details, like the book with the best covers of VOGUE. Of course I felt right at home.
We walked around at the Montparnasse district to find ourself some food because we were starving and we had a whole day ahead of us. We stopped at this cute bagel shop to get our stomaches filled. After our bagels we walked around the cute streets of Paris and took some pictures :-).
Later that day we got back to our hotel to freshen up and find ourself some good place to have dinner. I really wanted to go to Paris New York because of the burgers. We went a little early and had some drinks at ‘Chez Justine’. Happy hour! Chez Justine was located next to PNY Oberkampf so right after the drinks we went for some good burgers with bacon fries.
Our friend JB joined us at PNY. We talked, laughed and had some good food. The atmosphere at PNY Oberkampf is really cozy. Small space with a lot of people, good music ( they played J Dilla ), good food (bacon fries HELLO) . I liked it a lot!
After even more food it was time to explore Paris by night. Oh my gosh, we walked so much that day but it was totally worth it. They had some cool exhibitions set up but unfortunately they were closed. The lights looked really cool and gave a nice contrast with the old buildings.
We ended our day with a crepe with Nutella and banana. Well not for me, I was still so full. But JB and my friend Wara really enjoyed it, haha. By the time we got back to our hotel it was time to sleep, we fell asleep immediately. Our feet were so tired and we wanted to wake up early for another beautiful day in Paris!
To be continued..
